A Beautiful Rainy Day
According to the Weather Channel, the Boston area has received the equivalent of 2 years of snow in just 1 month! I’m sure my fellow New Englanders can agree, Mother Nature can be really brutal at times but all you can do is make the most of it. While digging tunnels to leave my house and snowboarding in my backyard, I was reminded of a wedding I shot this past October in Bedford New Hampshire.
For Alison and Mario’s wedding at the Bedford Village Inn, they had to deal with what many people fear for their wedding day, rain. Ideally, the wedding ceremony as well as portraits and groups shots were planned to be taken outdoors but Mother Nature disagreed. The weather forced us indoors for the majority of the time except for a few minutes when we snuck outside to take some portraits. Despite the weather, Alison and Mario didn’t let the change in plans bother them. They had a beautiful wedding with their closest family and friends. Some advice they have for other couples planning their big day is to “try not to stress too much and enjoy the process. Don’t leave things till the last minute and remember what it’s actually all about – your marriage.”
