Renee & Chris’ Traditional & Not-So-Traditional Wedding

Renee and Chris decided to have a traditional wedding ceremony but they also opted for a not-so-traditional reception that suited their style.  Their wedding ceremony was held at St. Catherine’s of Genoa Church in Somerville where Renee grew up.  For the reception they chose to have a relaxed buffet dinner at the restaurant Hardcover in Danvers.

Renee and her fiance Chris met at a mutual friend’s wedding and Chris went back to that location when he proposed to Renee because he wanted to proposed where he first set eyes on his future wife.  Both love the outdoors and enjoyed their honeymoon in the beautiful Punta Cana Dominican Republic.

When planning for their wedding they used Pinterest and magazines for ideas.  Their advice for other couples planning their wedding is to take it slow, do what you both want not what others want, and communicate with each other.
